Challenge
What was breaking?
Australia-based players were suffering 280ms ping on a US-hosted realm and the previous build had loot respawn settings that nuked the economy in two days.
Solution
How we built it
We migrated them to a Sydney-region node, tuned loot respawn timers and zombie population maps for a long-form survival economy, and added scheduled safehouse decay enforcement.
Outcome
What changed
Median ping dropped from 280ms to 32ms. The economy stabilised, with a healthy scavenge loop holding for three full in-game months without admin intervention.
